… don’t worry, you aren’t alone. According to The Wrap, “WWE legend” John Morrison — aka Lucha Underground’s Johnny Mundo — will join fellow pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page in the upcoming film Adi Shankar‘s Gods and Secrets. No shade at movies starring wrestlers, but so far the team behind the movie have put together the most absurd, random ensemble cast this side of Scary Movie franchisee.
Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets (which “explores the darker ramifications of a world filled with super heroes,” in case you were wondering) stars:
– two pro wrestlers
– Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone from Twilight
– comedian Andy Milonakis (stay with me)
– Denise Richards
– one of the stars of Step Up 3D
– Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman
– three actors from Glee, but only one from the main cast
– celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton (seriously, stay with me)
– Walt Jr. from Breaking Bad
If they skip the 30-year-old Watchmen vibe and go straight to DDP hitting the Diamond Cutter on Andy Milonakis from outta nowhere, I’m in. Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets is the directorial debut of one of the guys who produced The Grey — guess his name — and features a script from Shawn Deloache, writer of The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy and host of ‘We Review Doctor Who.’
